Waht we Focus on

Our research spans Indo‑Pacific security, cross‑strait strategic dynamics, major‑power relations, and cross‑Taiwan‑Strait interactions. We analyse geopolitical shifts, security risks, diplomatic evolutions, social‑economic exchanges and public‑opinion trends to unpack regional transformations and inform risk‑management thinking.

Indo‑Pacific Security

We examine the evolving security landscape across the Indo‑Pacific. Our research covers maritime chokepoint security, regional military deployments, alliance strategies, geopolitical developments in Southeast and South Asia, and assessments of regional conflict risks. We aim to unpack the shifting logic underpinning the broader Indo‑Pacific security order.

Taiwan‑Strait Strategic Studies

This track analyses strategic postures, situational shifts, crisis‑scenario simulations, and stakeholder responses in and around the Taiwan Strait. We evaluate the security environment, competitive dynamics, and viable risk‑management pathways for the region.

Major‑Power Relations

Centered on China‑US strategic interactions, we investigate great‑power rivalry, shifts in foreign policy, and the dynamics of strategic competition and cooperation. We analyse the spill‑over effects of major‑power behaviour on East Asia, the Indo‑Pacific, and the Taiwan‑Strait theatre.

Cross‑Taiwan‑Strait Relations

We systematically monitor cross‑strait political interactions, social exchanges, economic linkages, public‑opinion shifts and policy trajectories. Our work traces the evolutionary path of cross‑strait relations, identifies outstanding divergences, observes grassroots integration, and explores practical options for risk mitigation.
